Embark on a journey of hands-on learning, community building, and sustainable agriculture through Crabtree Farmsโ exclusive Workshare Program. This unique opportunity offers a dynamic, seasonal experience where you can grow alongside nature while contributing to a thriving farm ecosystem.
Fall Session 2025๐ Dates: September 1 - November 30, 2025 (13 weeks)
๐ Times: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 9:00 AMโ12:00 PM
Participants commit to a weekly, three-hour shift filled with meaningful tasks and guided learning under the expertise of Annemarie Gero and Sarah Wiatrek. This session emphasizes preparation for our Fall Plant Sale, ensuring a vibrant and thriving season ahead.
In gratitude for your dedication, Workshare participants receive a biweekly produce box, brimming with the freshest, most delicious offerings from our fields and greenhouse. Relish the fruits (and veggies!) of your labor, knowing your hands helped bring them to life.
Eligibility: Must be 16 or older. Participants under 18 require a signed waiver by a parent or guardian to be submitted at least 24 hours in advance.
Attendance: Participants may miss up to two shifts; beyond this, weโll transition you to a regular volunteer role. Make-up days are welcome with clear communication.
Commitment: Workshare participants agree to a waiver upon application submission and are expected to communicate absences to Sarah at swiatrek@crabtreefarms.org.
Environment: Crabtree Farms fosters a safe, inclusive, and equitable space for all participants to connect and collaborate.
